Hifu is typically used to stimulate collagen production to tighten the skin and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. It  helps to delay the ageing process for clients aged 20+.  

It is also for those that have noticed the skin on their face or neck has become laxer and wish to lift, tighten and improve the relevant area.

Hifu is suitable for ages 60+ providing the degree of laxity is not too great. 

It is also for anyone that is looking to lose fat (double chin) and that wants to sculpt and tighten any areas on the face.

Forehead, crows feet, eye bags, lifting of the cheeks, jowl lifting, jawline sculpting, neck lifting and tightening , correction of the facial shape and asymmetrical face shape due to facial drops, chin reduction and tightening of the décolletage (lower neck line).

Depending on the area, treatment time can range from 10 - 60 minutes.

HIFU Cool is unlike normal HIFU technology, the revolutionary cooled handpiece allows for a comfortable, PAIN FREE and quick treatment. It may still feel slightly warm.

Results build gradually over 12 weeks, during this time your body naturally regenerates collagen.

Some clients notice positive effects such as tightening within the first couple of weeks.

• Do not take any medications or prescription drugs on the day of treatment unless they have been discussed in your consultation and your GP has advised it is safe.
• No alcohol consumption on the day of treatment.
• No heat treatments to be done on the same day or for the following 24 hours. 

After treatment, you can immediately resume your normal activities because the skin’s upper layers are not damaged by the high intensity ultrasound. 

• Avoid sun exposure (use sunscreen if necessary)
• Avoid heat treatments such as hot bath/ shower/ sauna/ sunbed for 24 hours
• Do not take any medication 24 hours before or after treatment (unless GP has confirmed ok).
• Try to drink a minimum of 2 litres of water per day to keep skin hydrated.
• Moisturise your face 2-3 times a day as hifu can sometimes dry out the skin.

 In some cases, slight redness or mild swelling may occur, which will quickly subside. There may also be a slight sensitivity to touch, a slight ache over the bone areas, slight tingling sensation, which can persist for up to 2 weeks. 

In very rare cases, bruising, welting, temporary local numbness can occur. However, these are mild and temporary in nature, if they happen at all. 

  Open wounds or lesions, diabetes type 1, gastric ulcers, suffer from migraines, electrical apparatus- medical or none, pregnant or breastfeeding, within 2 weeks before and after botox, anti-thrombosis therapy, permanent dermal implants, haemorrhage disorders or dysfunction, any current general illnesses or infection, skin disease/infection, diseases or trauma, inflammation, skin irregularities, irregular heart rate or heart murmur, severe health conditions, cancer (current or any history of, blood or bleeding disorders,infectious skin disorders, any kidney, liver or heart problems, Immune compromised, vascular or blood clotting disease, severe epilepsy,immune system disorders, medical oedema, blood/ bleeding disorders, metal stents\implants (normal dental implants are ok),  implants such as pacemakers, defibrillator or other electrical devices, active systematic or skin disease which may hinder regeneration, clients with numb feeling or no response to cold and/or heat, under the age of 18.Metal implants in the treatment area
